Update

Its been a while, but that is cos ive been quite busy. The ex-Yugoslavian countries are amazing. I had been to croatia before so I only visited dubrovnik which I hadnt seen and was dissapointed with the amount of yahoo tourists it has, but it certainly is a beautiful town. Complete Journal

Eastern Europe

So far I have been to Warsaw, Cracow, Bratislava and am now in Budapest in this infamous corner of the world. My opinions very greatly from place to place. As a backpacker, I would not suggest to others to go to warsaw as there is really nothing to do there and the only impressive thing is that thier `Old Town´ is only about 30 years old (the nazis levelled it and after the war the poles rebuilt it exactly as it was).

catching up.

Tromso over 300Km within the arctic circle is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. But more than beautiful it is surreal. Also the fact that the sun never goes down and you are trapped in a perpetual '5 in the afternoon' makes it even wierder. Anyway, I would suggest it purely on the grounds that its one of the only places you can find the beer 'Mack' (local brew) which according to my humble opinion is one of the best beers one can have.Anyway, now im in berlin and last night for the first time in almost 10 days I got to see proper nighttime and I am loving it.
